Terms and Conditions

The seller is GIB Jewels, with its registered office and boutique at Betlémské náměstí 259/11, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic, e-mail help@gibjewels.com, phone +420 608 860 860. Company registration details are stated on your order document.

These terms govern the rights and obligations between the seller and the buyer arising from purchase contracts concluded through the online store.

The presentation of goods in the store is an invitation to treat. The contract is concluded when the buyer submits an order and the seller confirms it by e-mail.

Before submitting the order the buyer can review and amend the entered data. Orders may be placed in Czech or English; the contract is archived by the seller.

All prices include VAT. Payment can be made by card, bank transfer or other methods offered at checkout (checkout runs on the secure Shopify platform).

Shipping costs and any fees are shown before the order is completed. Shipments outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and taxes under the destination country's rules; these are paid by the buyer.

In-stock items are usually dispatched within a few working days. Handcrafted pieces that are not in stock are made to order — the lead time is usually up to 10 working days and is stated on the product page.

We ship worldwide with Packeta (pickup points and home delivery). The risk of damage passes to the buyer upon receipt of the shipment.

Consumers may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. It is sufficient to send the withdrawal by e-mail to help@gibjewels.com before the deadline expires.

Return the goods undamaged, unused and complete. We refund within 14 days of withdrawal, but no earlier than after receiving the returned goods. The cost of return shipping is borne by the buyer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods customised to the customer's wishes (engraving, bespoke sizing, individually made pieces) or to goods in sealed packaging that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons (e.g. earrings and piercings) once opened.

Consumers may claim defective performance within 24 months of receipt. The procedure and time limits are set out in the Complaints Policy.

Normal wear, mechanical damage, damage caused by improper care, and the natural variability of handcrafted jewellery and natural stones are not considered defects.

The 10% member discount is applied automatically in the cart after signing in and cannot be combined with other discount codes unless stated otherwise.

With an online order over 1,600 CZK the customer receives 500 CZK off a purchase in our boutique upon presenting the order confirmation e-mail. The offer can be used once per order.

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz) is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. Consumers may also use the European Commission's ODR platform.

Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. This does not affect consumer rights arising from mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence.

The seller reserves the right to amend these terms; concluded orders are governed by the version in force at the time the order was submitted.
